Two of my good friends have taken on "Project 365" and have inspired me to do the same. Basically, the goal is to take one picture everyday for a year and to post the picture along with a brief description. It's been quite interesting and entertaining to follow these women's adventures and while I don't anticipate my posts to be as exciting as a new college grad or someone studying/traveling in Europe, I thought this would be a unique way to document the first year of the littles' lives. I can just about guarantee that this blog will not be updated daily and perhaps not even weekly, but I'll give it my best effort to post on a regular basis. My hope is that this will be a popular site for the grandparents, godparents, aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends of the littles and that this can be a fun way to watch them grow.
*November, 2011* We made it through the year, and I thought perhaps I'd try to redesign the blog for the future, intermittent updates. But, this twin mom is going to keep it simple and just keep going. Do not expect daily photos; we'll just post highlights from now on. Enjoy.

More Cousins!
November 20, 2010
The littles enjoyed the day being passed around and celebrating with family. We can't wait for the upcoming arrival of Little Manns, Sabrina and Joe's baby.
Who's Afraid of a Little Color?
November 19, 2010
Woke up this morning to find Noah in his sister's sleep sack. This is a result of Noah having wet more than his diaper, the laundry being finished but not put away, and Bennett grabbing whatever was available in the middle of the night. I think he's sporting the floral print quite well and I'm grateful for a husband on night duty!

Two?!
November 18, 2010
One year ago today in the Kaiser Women's Clinic -
Mom: "What are we looking for?"
Nurse Practitioner: "Well, here's her bladder, here's her uterus, and here's one...and here's another one."
Me: "Another one, as in 2, as is twins???"
Nurse Practitioner: "Yes, exactly! As in twins."
Mom: "Yahoooo!!!!!!!"
Me: "Ooooh my god!"
Bennett: "Wha-wha-wha-what???"
Had to include this photo as well to document Noah's first attempts at crawling. At this point he's just scooting his legs under his butt and pushing himself backwards. We're going to have to baby-proof the house soon!

Seeing Double
November 17, 2010
Noah's new favorite past-time is reaching out and exploring faces. Another is blowing raspberries and I happened to catch one of his bubbles. Everyone says he's a little Bennett!
And while I'm sure Ben's made this face many times, it so reminds me of the Bennett from our college years!
Another Day
November 16, 2010
I missed another day...I've really got to be more conscientious about this!

Bibs
November 15, 2010
With twins it makes sense that we go through lots of bibs in one day. Twins with reflux = loads of laundry amounts of bibs. The good news is that the littles are really showing signs of wanting to sit up on their own and my understanding is the more sitting up, the less spitting up!
